 Winter is on it's way. I biked to work yesterday and saw the North Vancouver mountains with a dusting of snow on them. It's time for winter projects to get into full swing, and have some late nights in the shop. I just wanted to post a few photos from this summer, i would of liked to ride more, but that's how it goes. I need to start using my camera again and start posting. I would like to get a good look at everyones XT'S, as most of Vancouver has added an enduro to there collection. I have insurance on my XT for another month or so, if anyone is down for a cold mission. TL

1930 DL project

I have taken the motor to Gus Shop, we have spent my hours figuring out our game plan. Brand new 45 rods and bearings, valves and guides. New stoker pistons from T.O.. fix er up.........Gus built 45. Now heres where it gets a little tricky, the two bolt , 3 speed tranny is a left over from the B, harley single 30incher.. They all broke the same way, i have bought boxes full of broken tranny bits. 80 year old junk.Cleaned up two and a half trannies to try and make one usable; nope. Still only half way on the transmission. Borrowed a BSA preunit 4 speed for a mock up from Rogue.....Got some new bars from a swedish hillclimber. Mitchi

At the end of the block from the Brooklyn Invitational. These guys were in a heated talk about the fabrication on the "lake" headers. They spoke Yidish with hot rod words mixed in. These guys  were down. Williamsburg.


I heard there was going to be a club meeting on Sunday Oct.30th at Matte Blacks.
Atlin is already starting to prepare snacks.
Tyler is tallying unpaid fines.
 Mitchi is trying to grow back his beard, like these handsome fellas.

L.A. should be called the motor city in my books

It only took a week and I now have my top end back, I am going to pick up some gaskets and some rings from Caleb in a bit then my motor is going back together.  I promise not to ride it like a JackAss again.  I expect to be leaving Friday or Saturday.  Hopefully I can make it back to Vancouver in no more than 3 days, but we all know how that goes.  I am a bit under the weather, so hopefully over the next few days of getting the bike back together, I can also get myself back together.  Even though this has been the trip of my life, I can't wait to be back on the Lower East Side of VC.
