WINE ME DINE ME?

Don't know about you, but when i wear a vest of any kind it takes me a few just to get the feel of it. In the beginning i always feel a bit off. I have never been a vest guy, more of a hoodie kinda guy. I have been sewing patches onto this vest i got 2 years ago, and i realize i never really wear it much. Which is a shame considering how much energy i have put into sewing all these way cool patches onto it. I rolled it to duffins the other day, gave it a nice break-in, with a golden shower of donut crumbs, that felt good.
I was thinking it would be cool if someone put together a web site of just rad old biker vest's. Your shit always seems alot cooler before you see some photo of some dude in the 70's doing what you were going for, but just doing it way better then you. It's great, i love it. It's all been done, and done again. This is why i think the vest, is cool. It's pretty hard to be hard core in this day and age, you will never be as hard core as some dude rolling in the 60's or 70's, you just can't, it's impossible! You have a cell phone or i phone, or gps, you just can't. Your vest gives you that slight edge, that safety blanket of filth. If you put your own touch onto your vest, it's like saying i might be a hard core mother fucker, i might not. Don't know where i was going with that.

Sun/Rain

Took a ride with Lisa to Horseshoe Bay had a beverage, took the low road back and got stuck behind a bus for a few km's and then the slowest driver to ever drive that road. Then road construction in west Van, then hit the iron workers, and looked to my right and watched the sun coming down over the water and said "fuckin beautiful" as my pipes screamed.

T>L. any of you fags going to post some stuff, fluff mode pillow!

Sporty finished

I finally got Lisa's tank and fender mounted. The original tail light that came with her sporty looked horrible on the new fender that i bobbed, so i mounted up an old horse square tail light. I started in on this process and realized that her old tail light housed a computer chip board, that a entire wiring harness went to. The turn signals plugged into this, as well as the brake wires and then the wiring harness coming from the brain of her bike under the seat. Before i knew it, i had to re-solder 14 connections back into all these special clips, and run all this shit back from where it came, and hide it under her seat. The photo above is me giving this process the thumbs down. I had never worked on a new bike, this being a 2006 and it's fucking space age. Myk Rock did an amazing job as usual and I'm happy with how my old lady's bike came out. Wish i made that dirt trip! TL

Squampton

We met up at the coffee shop and ended up rolling 6 deep.
rolecall?
punkmatt, curt, jboner,tory, Will-i-am,and poppa-beau
We rolled up to furry creek, got some turns on this concrete bank and headed into the bush
On our way to Britannia curt got a flat! Our first flat on the trail and we are not prepared!  We bump into this dude on a camo quad with cammo boots and suit and he was...eastern european......no..maybe turkish....we couldn't really understand him. He had a kit to fix flats but it was for a tubeless tire and tizzles run tubes. He proceeds to giggle and show beau and I photos on his phone, there is this amazing upclose flick of a bobcat. he killed it. and he showed us a dead bear photo, giggling it up.

Beau took a shit in a stump and let us throw rocks at him.....ok ok we just threw rocks

Will wrote a rap verse up a stump, near a dump

PunkMatt had a TUBE!! so curt attemped the 4 minute tire change.....45 minutes later he was done! Matt also had irons and a pump

we arrived at the highway and rode this spot for a minute. here beau rides the fine line for his new baby!
STUNTING LIKE MY DADDY

25 seconds before this was taken 80 of tory was in that puddle. He trooped on and his bike started but was really wet.

We rode some single track trails through the woods. wet roots are a hazard! remember that! We rode way up some really rough trails and ended up turning back. We got stuck at one point and had to push acouple bikes through. it was hectic

Wills chain came off right when we got out of the bush and onto the service roads. It mangled his chain tensioner and though it got jammed and wedged on his front sprocket it didn't break the oil line right there. He took the sprocket off and put it back on and put the chain back on without being able to tighten it. And away we went but it came off again right away, breaking the master link in the process. He also notice that the bolt on the rear axel was stripped and just turned freely.
 Will want revenge

curt and I took turns towing him out

Will left his bike in squamish and we went to a killer bbq place matt knew to get some ribs and shiit! Made the calls and will got a truck
leave the key in the T
Great time yesterday.
Six dirts showed up.
One flat (ill leave the rest to the bone).
Thanks for the photo Tory (didnt take any!)
Need a new plate.

THE WILL TO ROLL

Will it happen, a camping session with more then a few bro's? Well i would like to say yes, but i feel with all this baby action our camping days like this photo above may be a thing of the past. I know that most of us are going to make a solid effort to get out and hit the dirt this year. Things are changing for all of us, kids, house, reno's, marriage, heavy scene. I was just thinking this morn, as i sip my coffee how fun it is when we all get together, i really miss it. I think sometimes it's hard to remember how rad it can be, or how easy it is to make an excuse. I know i have missed plenty of trips, that sounded amazing. I know every time i have said "sorry man, can't make it, just got too much shit going on." I know sometime that rings true, especially with a few of us that just had baby's. All i know is, that when i say i can't make it, i regret it every time. I see a photo or hear a story and i say in my head, fuck i could of been rolling.
