BF BUILD.....

Finished up that 7/8th rear hoop to fit that 60's bates TT seat. Got the slugs into the lower legs, and trying to figure out what kind of connection I want to make to the rear section. Was waiting on this oil bag to see if it would work with the space between my rear tire and frame down tube. It did work but just looked bulky and out of place. I decided to hack up this old oil bag I had, it fits the width of the seat very nice, just need it to fit around that tire....Hacked up this old triumph cub rear fender, I got at a swap and massaged her into place. I really liked the rolled edge of the fender, I did not enjoy patching the holes with a mig welder for 3 hours, more work there still....here are a few flicks..TL

F-U TL Mock Up

I've been away on and off for a few months working in the mountains, I came home last week to a sweet new chopper project.  I have a 76' T motor and title that I bought a few years back from Disaster Dave.  Mitchi has a wonderful collection of cool old parts that were collecting dust, so he got to talking to old Reagan and they decided to get started on the mock up.  I brought up the front end, motor and front wheel last friday night and we got a rough idea where this project is heading.  Looks like a rolling death trap, just the way I like em'.  Stoked to get a paddle tire on this thing for The Next High Noon Scramble.  Potty Mouth

SOFT, BUT LOOKS HARD?

I wish I could see this guys mounting set up for his sissy bar. His bike obviously is not strutted, so the swing arm has to travel up and down. Thus his sissy bar must move indipendently of his fender. Or did he hinge his fender behind his seat, so the fender moves with the swing arm ....fuck....wish I had a better photo....I really dig it though, love the seat. TL
